Support Service for Students with Learning Difficulties:

• Studylink is a team of Education Support Workers who are trained to meet the needs of learners who have learning difficulties.
• Our aim is to support learning in the classroom whilst helping learners develop their confidence and skills, The Education Support Worker works closely with the tutor to make sure that learners have every opportunity to succeed.
• Support may be given on a one to one basis or within a small group

Support could include:

• Confidential enquiry service
• Assessments to help understand your learning support needs
• In-class support both in theory and practical classes
• Help with taking notes
• Explanation and help to understand work and instructions from tutors
• Confidence building
• Support to help raise self esteem
• Access arrangements & adjustments for exams
• Guidance to tutors on supporting learners with learning difficulties
• Links with other agencies e.g. Connexions
