Student Support
Study Support for Learners with Learning Difficulties and/or Disabilities
Liverpool Community College has a commitment to equality of opportunity for all its students and staff. We welcome people from all communities regardless of age, colour, cultural or national origin, disability, gender, marital status, religion or sexual orientation.
The support staff for students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities are organised into teams. These teams are based in a particular college centre but they provide support for students across the whole college and in outreach venues.
Whenever possible support needs should be identified in advance of coming to college. You can tell us about your needs confidentially by:
- Talking to Student Services
- Telling us about any support needs on your Application Form
- Discussing your needs with tutors at interview
- Coming for an assessment with one of our teams
All students are assessed individually so their particular needs can be discussed and taken into account.
