How do I add an RSS feed to a course page?
To add an RSS feed to a course page, first browse to your page and “Turn Editing On“…
Next, scroll down the page until you see the following. Select “Remote RSS Feeds” from the block highlighted in red below…
A new “Remote News Feed” block will be added to your course page. This is where your RSS feed will be displayed, however you must first select an existing feed, or add a new one.
To do this, edit the RSS Block settings by clicking on the “update” link highlighted in red below…
You will then be taken to the following page (click the image below to see it full screen), here you can select an existing feed and set a few options.
If the feed you wish to use is not listed here, click on the “Manage all my feeds” tab at the top of the page…
If you are adding a new feed and clicked the “Manage all my feeds” tab, then you will be taken to the page shown below (click the image below to see it full screen). Here you can enter the URL (address) and a title for your new RSS feed…
Finally, when you have saved the options, you will your new RSS feed as a block on the course page…
