Be descriptive using section summaries & text labels
It is important that you try to be descriptive when putting your course page together, filling the page with a long list of links without any description will make things extremely hard to find for your students.
When you turn editing mode on you will see that the VLE course page is split into sections, at the top of each section is the Section Summary, this is an area when your can incluse a section heading and a short descriptive summary of what your students can find within that section.
For example….
Section summaries.
You can also use text Labels to break up longer lists of resource links. Labels allow you to “label” links to resources and activities in order to describe what they are and what you expect the student to do with them.
