Adding YouTube video to a Student Intranet Course Page
To add a YouTube video into your course browse to the video you wish to add on YouTube.com, then select the address in your browsers address bar and copy it to the clipboard…
Next return to your the Student Intranet course and Turn Editing On, find the section where you wish to add the video then select “Insert a label” from the “Add a resource” drop down menu…
When the “Insert a label” page has loaded, click on the “Insert/add embedded media” button as shown below…
Next, after the window has opened, paste the address you copied into the “File/URL” text box and then click on the “Insert” button…
Finally, click on “Save and Return to Course“…
The video will now be displayed on your course…
You can edit the label that contains the video in the usual way to add more text and/or center your video on the page, just type into the editor as you would normally.
