Adding NLN Resources to your course…
To add an NLN resource to your course, you no longer need to browse directly to the NLN website. Now you have the option to search their database of resources directly from the Student Intranet.
Begin by turning editing on…
From the “Add a resource” selector choose “NLN Learning Object“…
Now you will be taken to a new page where you can select options for the NLN Learning object resource. You do not need to enter a Name as this field will be filled automatically with the correct title.
Just click the “Browse the NLN Materials” button (click the image below to enlarge it)…
A popup window will open showing you the currect NLN resource directory.
Browse to a resource category and select a level, as shown in the image below (click the image to enlarge it)….
Continue browsing until you find a learning object you would like to use and select it….
Finally you are taken to the overview page for your selected learning object. Click the “Add to Moodle Course” button when you are finished…
The pop window will close and details of your chosen learning object are inserted back into the Student Intranet.
When you are finished click the “Save and Return to course” button at the bottom of the page…
